Solution
We developed a system of buildings united by a common architectural theme and the concept of a “green shopping village.” Each building has its own specific function — from a garden center and restaurants to a library and craft workshops. The central idea was to create not just a shopping center, but an entire commercial village with diverse functions and activities.
Key Features
Multifunctionality
The complex includes 20 different zones: garden center, restaurants, library, botanical garden, craft workshops, children's playgrounds, open theaters, and cafes. This diversity creates a unique experience for visitors of all age groups.
Ecological concept
Emphasis on "green" technologies includes aquaponics, organic farming, garden center, and educational botanical garden. The project demonstrates harmony between commerce and nature.
Architectural unity
The building system is united by a common contemporary architectural language using natural materials and bioclimatic architecture principles adapted to Oman's climate.
Social functions
The space includes cultural and educational zones, making it not only a commercial but also a social community center with opportunities for learning, recreation, and cultural development.
Result
An innovative shopping village concept that reimagines the traditional approach to shopping centers. The project creates a unique environment where commerce, education, culture, and nature coexist harmoniously on the site.
