Solution
We developed a phased renovation strategy that includes preserving the original building volume with red tile roofing, updating facades in traditional white color, and creating contemporary landscape design. The central idea — “modernity within a traditional shell” through a minimalist approach to forms while preserving regional architectural identity.

Preservation of traditional Portuguese typology with characteristic red tiles and white walls, but with contemporary reinterpretation of windows and entrance groups. Addition of a modern pergola creates a transitional zone between interior and exterior.

Creation of a minimalist mirror pool that reflects the architecture and surrounding landscape. Preservation of mature trees and integration with natural terrain emphasizes the connection to the Portuguese landscape.
